Společnost Nikon dnes uvedla ve světové premiéře čtyři nové digitální kompaktní fotoaparáty série COOLPIX S. Nové modely S600, S550, S520 a S210 jsou vysoce funkční a zároveň stylové, a jsou vybaveny systémem redukce vibrací Nikon VR pro snadné pořízení vynikajících snímků.
Kromě nejkompaktnějších rozměrů ve své třídě se nové fotoaparáty série COOLPIX S vyznačují rychlým spuštěním a vynikající nabídkou nových funkcí. Pro zajištění perfektního úsměvu fotografované osoby je k dispozici funkce Detekce úsměvu, která provede automaticky expozici snímku v optimálním okamžiku – v závislosti na výrazu fotografované osoby. Mezi další nové vybavení patří motivový program Děti v pohybu, který slouží k fotografování rychle se pohybujících, aktivních malých dětí.
