Umí váš Nikon nahrávat video? Ano? Pak neváhejte a zapojte se do výzkumného projektu Nářečí českých strnadů! Nahrajte zpěv strnada, ptáka roku 2011, a vyhrajte jednu z připravených cen!
Ptákem roku 2011 je běžný pěvec strnad obecný (Emberiza citrinella). Jeho zpěv tvoří poměrně jednoduchá a velmi snadno zapamatovatelná melodie, někdy žertovně přepisovaná jako cynické „Kéž by si sedláčku chcíp'“. Tuto písničku však strnadi nepřednáší všude zcela stejně, a proto lze ve zpěvu evropských strnadů obecných rozpoznat několik nářečí, která dosud nebyla v České republice studována, ačkoliv hranice mezi hlavními evropskými nářečími nejspíš prochází naším územím.
Proměňte svůj fotoaparát ve vědecký nástroj! Nebudete muset dále, než na zahradu svého domu anebo na procházku se psem! Přispějte svými nahrávkami k odhalování tajemství strnadích nářečí díky projektu Nářečí českých strnadů, který organizují Česká společnost ornitologická a katedra ekologie PřF UK spolu s Meteorem, populárně-vědeckým magazínem Českého rozhlasu.
Odměnou všem nahrávajícím, kteří pošlou „svého" strnada, bude kromě samotné účasti na výzkumném projektu a poznání i šance vyhrát hlavní cenu. Mezi autory došlých nahrávek bude vylosován výherce, kterého čeká dalekohled Vortex Diamondback 10×42! Tento dalekohled věnovali BestPatron.eu, který je sponzorem projektu, a katedra ekologie PřF UK. Kromě dalekohledu však budou losovány i další ceny s ornitologickou tématikou (CD s ptačími zpěvy, Atlas migrace ptáků aj.).
Nečekejte, až začnou strnadi v prvních předjarních dnech zpívat, a otestujte vhodnost svého přístroje už nyní! Abyste pořídili využitelnou nahrávku zpěvu, musí být váš fotoaparát schopen zachytit i frekvence asi 8 kHz. Vyzkoušejte frekvenční rozsah svého přístroje pomocí jednoduchého návodu. Zatím je skóre velmi nepříznivé Nikon vs. Canon 0:4! To si přece nenecháme líbit ne? ;-)
