Jak připravit fotku pro fotolab na horším monitoru?

Zdar,
myšlenka je taková, že nemám super monitor, ale u fotky jsem schopen říct, že tahle část je bílá/šedá a tedy vyrovnat barvy a vidím histogram a shruba vím, jak scéna vypadala a podle histogramu vyladím kontrasty. Stačí tohle provést, byť na mizerném monitoru a dostanu slušné fotky z prověřeného fotolabu?

Vzbrat si minilab, který garantuje barevnost
Doporučuji minilab, která garantuje barevnost v nějakém barevném prostoru. V něm fotku připravit a poslat na vyvolání. Obvykle to bude RGB prostor, protože žádné tiskové zařízení neumí na 100 pokrýt třeba Adobe RGB... A CMYK? No to bych raději koupil domů inkoustovku :)
Zpracování foto
Minilab mi poslal i barevný profil, se kterým pracuje. Potud je mi vše jasné. Mě jde o to "správně" připravit fotku po stránce barvy a kontrastu. Viz původní dotaz.
Ještě možná dodatek. Hodní se fotky jdoucí do labu doostřovat? Pokud nevíte, zkusím to a poreferuju.

Fotolab a tisk fotek
Mám zkušenost takovou, že poslal RGB prostor, on ten lab totiž nic většího nezvládne. Co se týče ostatního, je to problém, protože chemie je každý den (ráno po přípravě stroje) jiná, takže určitě nečekejte nějaký stabilní výstup, který bude v toleranci +-15 procent.... :(
