Ačkoliv byl tenhle kousek ohlášený už před pěkně dlouhou dobou, docela jsem se na něj načekal, ale dneska konečně přistál u mě doma. Měl jsem sice šanci nasadit si zkušební kus na jedné prezentaci Nikonu na svou D700 a zkusit, jestli si tenhle konvertor porozumí s Nikkorem 300mm/4, ale teprve když je to doma, tak se s tím dá pořádně pohrát a zkusit i jiná skla, tedy v podstatě jen 70-200/2.8 VR, (k mojí velké lítosti totiž není konvertor kompatibilní s oblíbenou lehounkou 180/2.8).
Na druhou stranu ačkoliv v oficiální dokumentaci Nikon tvrdí, že ostření bude fungoval jen na objektivech se světelností lepší než 2.8 (resp. 3.2 neboli 6.3 po nasazení konvertoru) teleobjektiv 300/4 s tím konvertorem přeci jen automaticky zaostřuje. Pravda je, že to není nejrychlejší ostření a že někdy se to ne a ne chytit, ale prostě ostření funguje. A když se to nechce chytit, tak stačí ručně pomoci.
Na objektivu 70-200/2.8 VR nebyl s funkčností problém.
Snad se mi povede na interent pověsit nějaké ukázkové snímky v dohledné době.
