Na povrchu Měsíce byl nalezen zapomenutý fotoaparát!

Posádce Endeavour - STS 123 na své misi, jejímž úkolem bylo důkladné zmapování povrchu Měsíce za použití nejmodernějších monitorovacích zařízení, se podařil husarský kousek. Systémy Endeavouru neplánovaně zaznamenaly unikátní záběr. Zvláště silný odlesk z temné strany Měsíce. Při detailním snímkování se zjistilo, že jde o zapomenutý fotoaparát Nikon Photomic FTn.
„Zatím nemůžeme prozradit více, než že to, co jsme na fotografiích spatřili, vrhá úplně nové světlo na to co se dělo při prvním přistání na Měsíci,“ říká mluvčí NASA Michael Griffin. NASA mimochodem tímto nálezem přiznává, že minulých 39 let „ztrátu“ Nikonu posádky Apolla 11 tajila. Zároveň uvedla, že mise Apollo 15 měla Nikon Photomic FTn z roku 1969 najít, ale nepodařilo se, protože se mise setkala s nepředvídatelnými potížemi na povrchu Měsíce.
