Reiko Imoto se narodila a vyrůstala v Kobe, Japonsko. V roce 2002 získala titul M.A. v umělecké fotografii na Savannah College of Art and Design, USA. Od roku 2004 žije a pracuje v Bruselu. Reiko má jedinečné fotografické vidění a její snímky jsou záhadné a surrealistické, přestože zobrazují předměty z každodenního života.
Reiko se inspiruje svou vlastní vnitřní realitou, světem svého podvědomí, svých snů a příběhů, své hudby a poezie a obyčejných věcí, tak jak je sama vidí z různých úhlů. Její fotografie vyvolávají více otázek než odpovědí k zobrazeným „realitám“.Výstava „Křídla času“ zahrnuje dva projekty: „Deník cestovatelky časem“ a projekt fotografických koláží „Létat, letěla, prolétla“.
