Koupil jsem si blesk nikon SB -900 ,SB- 700 už jsem měl. pokud chci jeden použít jako master a druhý slave jak mám v menu blesky nastavit funkci su-4 (zapnuto-vypmuto) u sb-700 sb-4 nebo advanced. Který je lepší použít jako master.

Dík za odpověd. Ten manuál mám stažený a moc z toho moudrý nejsem.Budu fotit ženiny 60. ve větším prostoru tak jem chtěl použít dva blesky aby bylo rovnoměrnější osvětlení. Ptal jsem se na zastoupení nikon a funkci su-4 mám nechat vypnutou.

Když necháte vypnutou funkci SU-4, tak master bleskem se spouští slave blesk. To znamená, že slave blesk reaguje až na světlo master blesku.
Když zapnete SU-4, tak povel pro odpálení obou blesků přijde současně.
SU-4 tak použijete např. pro situace, kdy chcete zachytit rychlý pohyb.
Proto Vám z Nikonu doporučili pro Váš konkrétní případ ponechat základní nastavení = funkce SU-4 je vypnutá.

Je tam dost solidně popsané kdy je vhodné použít funkci su-4.
Potom si vyhledejte v manuálu SB 700 obdobnou stránku pro režim blesků master-slave. Myslím, že je to celkem jasné kdy co použít.
Který blesk použijete jako master a který slave je silně odvislé od konkrétní situace jak to chcete nasvítit. Zdánlivě by bylo logické dát jako master SB-900. Ale to tak vůbec nemusí být, jestliže budete preferovat např. osvětlení ze zadní polosféry zespodu, z boku....., kdy by byl např.výkon SB-700 nedostatečný. Také může nastat situace, že v sáňkách těla použijete klidně jako master SB-700 a SB-900 umístíte jako slave kamkoliv jinam už jenom z důvodu, že nepreferujete osvětlení od těla fotoaparátu, ale odjinud a SB-900je lepší než SB-700.
Takže o tom masteru hodně rozhodne, který z nich budete preferovat z hlediska nasvícení scény.
(Myslím si, že tady nejvíc pomůže pár (pár desítek) zkušebních snímků než např. moje teoretické rady jak to řešit. Protože třeba já používám dva blesky vyjímečně. Nefotím ve studiích, žádnou reklamu ....., takže mě se to týká prakticky jen u nějaké technické fotografie)
